　　Entering the MGM Grand, visitors are dazzled by exciting shows, 1)gourmet dining, the wonders of an African lion’s 2)habitat and much more. Those staying at this hotel all rate it very highly.


　　Upon arrival, the woman checking me in asked what kind of room I would like, and fulfilled my request, giving me a room on the 27th floor with a gorgeous view of the 3)Strip. The room was 4)spotless. My only complaint was that the shower had an old style curtain instead of a glass door, and a coffee maker in the room would have been nice as well.


　　The hotel is huge. Some say that it is too big and requires too much walking around — you wouldn’t want to run back to your room if you forgot something! Don’t arrange to meet anyone “by the elevators” or “by the door,” because you’ll never be able to find them.


　　The 5)casino is the biggest that I have ever seen! But once you’ve learned your way around, it’s easy to navigate, and you feel like playing in the many different casinos there.


　　The Lion Habitat and 6)CBS Television City are fun, free attractions, and I really enjoyed the Lazy River and the pool. The pool area was so huge that I forgot I was in the middle of the desert.


　　MGM has the best selection of restaurants. I ate all my breakfasts either at the Studio Cafe, or in the Rain Forest Cafe. The Rain Forest Cafe is like a jungle, with real rain and thunder, the food there is sensational and worth a visit for a special family meal. The 7)buffet was very good, with great variety and fantastic food, earning it high marks. Everything cost a fortune, but it was like that in every hotel.


　　The service was generally pretty good — the 8)staff were extremely welcoming, and the waitresses were always there to serve you.


　　To sum up, this is a fantastic hotel. From the moment I checked in till the moment I checked out my experience was very positive. They call it “The City of Entertainment” and “9)Maximum Vegas” in the ads, and that’s not 10)hyperbole.


　　迈进米高梅大饭店，游客们往往会为其激动人心的表演、精美的佳肴、神奇的美洲狮驯养地以及更多的奇景感到眼花缭乱。在该饭店住宿的人都对它评价极高。


　　刚到饭店时，替我办理登记的女士问我想要一个什么样的房间，并满足了我的要求。我住进了27楼一个可以饱览Strip区胜景的房间。房中一尘不染。我唯一要抱怨的是浴室里是一条旧式的门帘而不是一扇玻璃门，而且如果房中有只咖啡壶的话会更好。


　　饭店非常大。有的人说它太大、要走太多路――如果你忘记什么东西了将不想跑回房间去拿。不要和别人约好在“电梯旁”或者“门边”碰头，因为你将永远找不到他们。


　　这里的赌场是我生平见过最大的赌场！但是一旦你熟悉周围的环境，行走时还是很容易认路的，而且你会觉得似乎是在许多不同的赌场中游玩。


　　美洲狮驯养地和哥伦比亚电视城是有趣的免费胜地。我很喜欢懒人河和游泳池。游泳场大得让我忘记自己正置身于沙漠中。


　　米高梅有着一流的餐馆。我所有早餐都是在影城咖啡厅或者雨林咖啡厅吃的。雨林咖啡厅好像一片丛林，有真实的风雨和雷电，那里的食物味道精美，值得到此吃上一顿特色家庭套餐。自助餐很好吃，有各种菜式和美妙的食物，备受游客称道。所有东西都贵极了，但是每个饭店情况都如此。
